"We have greatly appreciated the times that Alicia has spent with our "furry kids." I have 2 dogs and 4 cats and everyone of them remained comfortable while mom and dad were away for a couple of days.

My first impression of Alicia was that of a responsible young lady with a drive for what she loves most - taking care of furry children. She was well organized and took notes as to what each "furry child" required daily for medicine and mealtime. She had references and was ready to start when needed. She offered to call each night to give us an update if needed.

"My husband and I moved to Knoxville the end of December. We love it here, but we are away from family. So, we had to find a pet sitter for our dog, Fumble. As I was flipping through the yellow pages, I discoverd Alicia's ad for pet sitting. I was thrilled to go to her website and see a girl hugged up with several of her dogs. I knew then she would take good care of our child (dog).
I instantly called Alicia and left her a message. She called back within 30 mins. (another good sign). I was so releaved to know I could leave my dog in good hands if we were to go out of town for a couple of days.

"I would highly recommend Alicia LaBuz as your pet sitter. In the beginning, I was worried about a pet sitter not taking care of my 2 German Shephards, but when I met her she had no problems with them. Her communication and professionalism always puts me at ease when I have to leave town.
My dogs are crazy and it takes a lot of time and energy to play with them enough so they calm down. When I come back into town, there is no doubt that they have been played with thoroughly! That's my favorite part about Alicia's sitting. If I had a friend come over, there's no way that they'd give my dogs as much attention as Alicia does. "We have two dogs, both rescue dogs, named Woofie and Molly. As a way of background I will say that Molly was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid gland in November of 2005. Two local vets told me that they didn't know what was wrong with her and I would have to have her put to sleep. In the past we had boarded our dogs with our old vet and of course that was out of the question now.

Alicia graciously came by on her own time to meet Molly (Woofie likes everybody, Molly likes almost no one). Molly barked at Alicia the entire visit. Alicia said she wasn't afraid of Molly's barking and teeth bearing and was willing to work with her. Alicia pet sat our girls when we vacationed in June. She took Woofie on a walk the first day and Molly barked. The second day Molly realized the error of her ways and decided it was better to be nice and get to go on a walk than to spend the whole time barking. Alicia won Molly over which was a really, really big deal.

When we returned from that vacation the dogs were really happy to see us. The great thing was that they didn't smell like kennel and they had been in their own home and in their own yard. It was as if we had never left. Alicia called us to report on the dogs as often as we asked her which relieved my mind. I can leave and not worry about the dogs with every confidence that they are being well cared for.

Alicia has also been coming to the house since our first vacation to walk the dogs. As a result of Molly's thyroid problem she had gained a lot of weight and needed to lose almost 50 pounds. We put Molly on a diet and Alicia came by 2 or 3 times a week to give her a good workout. Molly has now lost almost 30 pounds and comes back from those walks with her tongue hanging out and heading straight for the water. Of course Woffie also thinks she needs to get out, so Alicia takes Woffie and our next door dog, Dominique, for a walk together after she brings Molly back.

A word about Alicia. She is wonderful with the dogs and they love her. She is completely trustworthy and really cares for the dogs on a personal level. I can trust that she will follow any instructions, and I have complete confidence that any decisions she makes will be to the benefit of the animals. She has been a real asset to the health and happiness of our dogs and to us, as well as we are both retired and not in the best physical condition. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their pets cared for both physically and emotionally.
