Pet
sitting as a service industry started in 1986 to serve as an alternate
to boarding. I
provide personalized at-home pet care. I
actually come to your home so you are able to leave your pet in
familiar surroundings. I try to follow
your pet care routine as closely as possible. This,
of course, includes feeding and watering, clean-up of pet areas,
exercising and playing, and
giving any medication your pet may require. I
serve as your pets support system while you are away from home. I
am their provider, their nurturer, and their source of entertainment
when you can not be.
You will not have to wonder about what your
pet has been up to because I offer a daily pet update. If you
would like to be made aware of the activities at home I can give you a
call (or email) as often as you'd like. You may also choose not
to be updated, and in this case I will leave you a detailed note and
only call if there was an emergency. Whatever
notification will put your mind at ease is exactly what I will
provide.
For
those that are vacationing, I'm happy to keep an eye on your home at
the same time by doing things such as bring in your mail and newspaper,
alternate lights, open and close curtains and blinds, water plants,
turn on and off the television or radio, and take out the trash
—activities that give your home
a lived-in look.
I
am a professional pet sitter who has specific
pet sitter's insurance and bonding, and I am certified by the American
Red Cross in pet first aid. Two
days notice is suggested for my services so that we may have time to
customize the service contract for your pet. Our
initial meeting (or "Meet and Greet") is required before reservations
can by confirmed and is
free of charge. After the service contract is complete all other
subsequent reservations may be made over the phone. <>
